Assists the Mohs surgeon by providing and controlling surgical instruments and equipment during Mohs stages. Ensures that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed. Provides hands on assisting with Mohs procedures. Assists with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens. In addition, the surgical assistant will assist the dermatologist providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow.

Primary responsibilities are to facilitate the cosmetic services schedule and maintain proper business and patient records. This entails (1) scheduling patients, (2) preparing and maintaining current patient information, (3) documenting in EMR patient responses to follow up visit questionnaire and (4) performing general office duties as requested.   This position is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm onsite in Acton.
