Responsible for cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist to review. This position is also responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in an accurate and timely manner and maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.

Schedule all general dermatology appointments.  Answer all incoming calls and triage to the correct department or individual.  Also responsible for rescheduling cancelled appointments or follow up appointments. Demonstrates sensitivity to patient’s needs and requirements. Demonstrates superior telephone and interpersonal skills.   This is a primarily remote position but you must reside in MA, NH, RI or CT.

The Patient Care Consultant (PCC) will work for Boston Center for Plastic Surgery, the premier cosmetic and plastic surgery practice in Boston.   The PCC will be responsible for plastic surgeons patient base and practice, representing our commitment to excellence and personalized care.  The PCC will also manage the lead generation for potential patients from initial inquiry to follow up.  Additionally, the PCC will perform administrative duties relevant to surgical operations.  This position includes surgery scheduling, appointment reminders, patient records upkeep, updating EMR systems and scheduling all aspects of a patient’s surgical procedure.   Our ideal candidate is positive, highly motivated, detailed oriented, and coachable.
