Under the general supervision of the clinician and reporting directly to the Practice Manager, the Medical Assistant shall provide direct and indirect care to a specified group of patients in our Plastic Surgery healthcare setting.  Medical Assistants work in collaboration with the clinician and other support staff within the office location and with other disciplines to deliver quality patient care. THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE WORK TO BE PERFORMED AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS / EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK/COMMUTE TO ALL SITES.

Assists the Mohs surgeon by providing and controlling surgical instruments and equipment during Mohs stages. Ensures that instruments and supplies are cleaned, sterilized and available as needed. Provides hands on assisting with Mohs procedures. Assists with lab/pathology processing of Mohs specimens. In addition, the surgical assistant will assist the dermatologist providers in day-to-day dermatology patient flow.

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent individual to serve as the Compliance Coordinator in a fast-growing health care group in dermatology.   This position offers the opportunity to actively participate in shaping and executing key company policies to enable growth. Responsible for cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist to review. This position is also responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in an accurate and timely manner and maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations.
