Laser Experienced Aesthetician

Schedule based on business needs - part time and full time shifts available 

APDerm is seeking several full-time or part-time experienced licensed aestheticians to add to our current team. We are a reputable and well-established dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, surgical dermatology (over 30 years!) and plastic surgery practice with multiple locations throughout New England.

Seeking aestheticians for Norwood & Wellesley.  Additional locations a possibility for an aesthetician with a loyal patient following who needs a new upscale, collaborative environment to call home. 

• Educate and treat clients on treatments and expectations
• Document treatments thoroughly
• Follow medical professional’s orders/treatment plan
• HIPAA Compliance
• Infection Control Compliance
• Replenish and get the room ready for the next day
• Duties delegated by Manager (i.e. order supplies
• Maintains a ONETeam mindset using the foundation of our core values, the 3Ps: Positivity, Productivity, and Professionalism.
• Support APDerm’s mission and culture of high-quality standards by carrying out applicable policies, procedures and established industry standards, laws and regulations. Examples include adhering to privacy and data protection practices, ensuring a safe workplace, and reporting observed or suspected behavior and actions that do not meet APDerm standards.
• Complete all assigned required training by the deadline including, but not limited the Code of Conduct, Privacy & Data Security, and OSHA.

Our ideal candidate is experienced with lasers, chemical peels, Diamond Glow, microneedling, dermaplaning and skin care.  Laser experience of 2 years plus is a must.  You must be good at building a strong rapport with patients in person and on the phone.  Your focus should be on delivering a concierge type experience and giving optimal results to your patients.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Maintain current state Aesthetician license
• Proven Sales ability and aesthetic experience is required
• Able to stand 6-8 hours per shift
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in the industry
• Able to lift 20 pounds
