Overview

The Patient Care Consultant (PCC) will work for Boston Center for Plastic Surgery, the premier cosmetic and plastic surgery practice in Boston.

 

The PCC will be responsible for plastic surgeons patient base and practice, representing our commitment to excellence and personalized care.  The PCC will also manage the lead generation for potential patients from initial inquiry to follow up.  Additionally, the PCC will perform administrative duties relevant to surgical operations.  This position includes surgery scheduling, appointment reminders, patient records upkeep, updating EMR systems and scheduling all aspects of a patient’s surgical procedure.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with new leads daily to educate and qualify through one-on-one phone
    consultations, following best practices and call procedures
  • Manage and track leads using CRM and practice management software
  • Follow-up on existing leads via phone, email, text
  • Connect with patients and maintain detailed records regarding their goals, health
    history, lifestyle, financial situation, etc.
  • Clearly communicate value by educating patients about our surgeons accolades, the
    preparation, procedure and recovery throughout the surgical process
  • Follow proven best practices to prepare patients for in-person consultations, booking
    surgery and paying deposit
  • Overcome objections with the goal of scheduling viable and qualified patients for elective
    medical procedures
  • Become each patient's resource and advocate in helping them to achieve their goals.
    This includes conversations about finances, planning for recovery/down-time, etc.
  • Conduct in-person consultations with our surgeons, deliver quotes, book patients for
    surgical procedure
  • Create and experience and environment where patients feel safe, secure, supported and
    excited to embark on their personal improvement journey with our practice

Qualifications

  • “People person”; have the ability to connect with patients on an intensely personal level
    to understand their needs
  • Possess the desire to continuously improve and expand knowledge, techniques and
    approach.
  • Ability to understand key drivers to successfully close sales & achieve target goals
    through analytics
  • Computer skills - must be comfortable with standard office programs and ability to learn
    EMR and CRM
  • Bachelor's Degree
